Tuesday A team production

Last night over 300 people came to our Cinderella Circus performance.

I was so nervous I had butterflies, but when I went on stage, I was not scared or nervous. I was just so scared before I went on stage .

I never ever thought I'd do it, but it worked out pretty well. It was amazing!

All of the performers in my class room twenty were wearing black and white. I saw my mum. She was  poking her tongue out when I was performing - embarrassing, right

The Summerland Production / by Isaac

The production is called Cindy Circus. It is about a girl called Cindy that wants to perform in the circus.
Cindy's step-sisters try to stop her from performing in the circus.

I have the Black or White role. The Black or Whites introduce the circus.

Cindy's step-sisters guards (the lions) bring Cindy to a dungeon where there are zombies. Some mice save Cindy from her dungeon by sticking the guards to the ground with super sticky glue. Cindy gets to perform in the circus after all.

On Thursday the whole of team A are going to do a dress rehearsal. We are going to change in Bethells. On the dress rehearsal day we will have a real audience.

The Production by Krishnay

Wow! I never thought I would be brooming in a production but luckily the sweetest school in the whole wide world, Summerland Primary School, is putting one on. There are black curtains, a magnificent stage, red cups and green and red brooms.

The production is really funny and the dancers are superb.  The theme is Cinderrellla Circus and the broom dance is the clean up dance for Cindy to help clean up the circus.

I am in the clean up dance with the brooms and we clean up pretend rubbish left behind at the circus (Black and white dancers). We get into a circle but finish in a line. Then we tap the brooms on the ground to the beat. After that we act like raging rockstars rocking out at the bottom of the stage and then we pose by holding the brooms above our heads.

The production is really fun to watch but way more exciting to be in. It feels like you are performing on national T.V. like Fox news or other famous T.V. channels. It feels awesome being part of a production so funny and exciting because you are performing in  front of three hundred people and they are going to clap for you.

THE BEST PART OF TERM 2 By NIKHIL

The best part of term 2 was when everybody saw thunder outside school. We     heard thunder go boom! and smash. We thought it would smash the railway station. Everybody thought and saw but it was just fire.

The second best part of term 2 was when I went to Kelly Tarlton’s when we put our hands in arctic ice and challenged  ourselves for thirty seconds.

The third best part of term 2 doing my topic. My topic was catfish. Did you know catfish can lay  up to 4,000 eggs year per pound? Wow how cool is that? But it can’t lay them all at once. It’s impossible to do that!

Chloe’s Term Two Story

The best part of term two was seeing the worms in the worm farm because it was dark so the worms won’t die.
I like the garden because we got to see lots of potatoes and got to dig them out.The best thing in the garden is seeing lots of veggies.

Best Thing About Term two

The best thing about term two was when we went to Kelly Tarltons because of all the animals and cool things like Captain Scotts room which was full of things from the past.

I liked the dead Giant squid because it was giant, like the name said. There were scary scaly Sharks and awesome Stingrays and other cool things.

My favourite thing was the scary long Mottled Moray Eel because it is dangerous and can kill other fish with heaps of attacks.

The start was awesome because there was water which was so cold. I liked the circled  Pufferfish because it looks like it’s about to blow up. Kelly Tarltons people say that Kelly Tarlton caught the oldest Stingray there. It is huge like a big rock.

Treasure by Thomas

I brought a rugby world cup ball to school. My ball was signed by All Black players Dan Carter and Peri Weepu.

It is special to me because I have cool memories of playing with my ball, throwing it around at home.

I've had it since the 2011 World Cup.

Isaac's tresure by Isaac

Last week I brought a treasure to school. The treasure I brought was a glass fish.

It is a treasure to me because it is special to me and it is sparkly.

I got the treasure from my uncle. I put it in the sink and I pretend it is swimming.

mr Nizys batmobile by Nikhil

On the 3rd week of school Mr Nisbet brought his batmobile to school!! It was cool because it had a chainsaw at the front of the car. The car was 5 centimeters long.

At the back there were bullets but mr Nisbet had lost his bullets. It used to shoot far but not that far. When you drive the car at the exhaust back it shoots out flames that are called nitros. The flame colour is orange. They were fake flames! It is special to Mr Nisbet because he got it when he was 8 I think. He got the car from Australia from his parents. It's the real batmobile from Batman but but what about the batmobile in the movie ? What's that batmobile? Probably there's two batmobiles! Maybe both are fake!!!!!!

My Treaure by Krishnay

My treaure is a lali (drum). I got it from my dad when he went to Fiji. He said that it was used in celebrations and funerals.

It is special to me because it is from a different country and it is used for special occasions.

My Dad got it for me in 2010 I think. We keep it in a cupboard in the lounge.

My brother has the same thing but just in a different colour.

The cupboard has all our family's treasures in it.

My Treasure by David

I have a treasure that is special to me, and it is some rewards like ribbons, rosettes and others.

I also got it from Auckland in kumeu shows. I got most from Wellington, Christchurch and Hamilton.

They are special to me because they are old and they still look new. My oldest prizes are the ones that I got from 2006.

Long Bay By Eddie

Last Wednesday we went to Long Bay beach. Nearly all the Summerland people went. I was very excited.

We went by bus. I sat next to Sanil and Kyle. We got closer and closer until we finally got there.

When we got there we munched our morning tea. Then we warmed ourselves up because we were going to the beach.

We followed Miss Matia to the beach.

Then we saw six flags blue for Anawhata, purple for Muriwai, green for Karekare, light blue for Huia, red for Piha and yellow for Bethells. That was for our boundary.

We jumped into the water and dived in the water and faced the waves but in the middle there was a huge wave so we got knocked over " Bam!" but sadly Muriwai came so we needed to leave.

We were starving so we finished our lunch and we played. Then it was the saddest bit which is leaving but it was a brilliant day.
